Health-E Illinois Kicks Off

Thanks to federal funds from the National Library of Medicine (NLM) provided to the Health Sciences Library, locating Illinois healthcare services is becoming as effortless as a click of the computer mouse.

On September 7, 2007, the Health Sciences Library launched Health-E Illinois, one of 22 NLM Go Local initiatives designed to help consumers quickly find hospitals, doctors’ offices, nursing homes, pharmacies, specialists, support groups, medical information and many other health care services throughout the state.
