Health-E Illinois - Outreach

Since Health-E Illinois made it’s debut on September 7th, members of the Health-E Illinois team have been presenting a consumer outreach class called Beyond An Apple a Day. This class is an introduction to locating quality health information on the Internet for consumers. Emphasis is placed on

· researching symptoms, diagnoses, and treatments of diseases and medical conditions

· locating healthcare providers, facilities and services

· completing an effective health reference interview; and evaluation of websites for reliability and authoritativeness.
