About JHSII
The Jesuit Health Sciences Information Institute is an information collaborative created by the U.S. Jesuit Medical School Health Sciences Libraries at Creighton University, Georgetown University, Loyola University and St. Louis University to:
Facilitate
information exchange among its faculty, students and staff;
Promote partnerships among its
members to improve quality, performance, and efficiency in
healthcare;
Explore common opportunities
that meet Jesuit medical school health information needs and support
their strategic directions and initiatives;
Improve alumni access to
electronic resources;
Promote the identity of the
unique philosophy that is manifest in the Jesuit
model of education that aims to shape and develop the entire
person, foster self-discipline, reflection, and service to others
JHSII responsibilities are to:
Identify and spawn the
implementation of prioritized common health information sharing
opportunities
Evaluate the efficiency and
effectiveness of JHSII's approach to joint collaboration
Foster a spirit of continuous
collaboration within a trusting and respectful environment
Enable and support educational
programs and electronic information resources that are sufficiently
trusted and valued by all stakeholders.
