Literature Searches

Mediated computer searches are provided by search analysts using a wide range of professional level retrieval software and information resources. In addition to the primary biomedical databases, the Library has access to hundreds of databases with broad multi-disciplinary subject coverage. Searches are initiated at the Research & Access Services desks in the Library and are also accepted by mail, e-mail, phone, or fax. Users can also do their own searches on a variety of databases in the Library, from their offices or from home. For more information on literature searches, contact an R & A Librarian at (708) 216-9192.
